MY TESTIMONY
I'M SO GLAD THAT THE LORD JESUS SAVED ME!

Ezekiel 16 v 8-14
Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord God, and thou becamest mine.
9  Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil. 10 I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers’ skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk. 11 I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck. 12 And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head. 13  Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom. 14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord God.

I was born in Koji, local government of Nigeria. To the family of Phillips & Alice Ibitoye. I had a very poor upbringing. My parents (their souls now resting in eternal peace), really tried to give my four brothers, my sister and I, as best a life they could.

Desperate to get out of that cycle of poverty, when I was old enough, I decided to head towards what I thought was the ‘high life’, following ’Sugar daddies’. I never knew the interpretation of this act, until I became a Christian.

In 1990, I decided to set out for a better lifestyle, migrating to England.

On May 23rd, 1992, Christ Jesus saved me, just when I was at the point of giving up on life. I met with the Lord Jesus Christ, my Saviour in a very special way, of all places in a telephone-booth!! God had raised up someone who was bold enough to approach me, telling about His unconditional love, through His Son Jesus Christ.

I never believed that, after all I had previously done, God could still love me…. but He did. I was also told that if I believed in Him, He would forgive me and give me a brand new life in Him. I said yes to Him, and He turned my life around for the better. This once hopeless life had now become a life of destiny.

After giving my life to Christ Jesus, all I wanted to do was sing for Him and  speak of His unconditional love. I wanted to tell the whole world, how He could take a nobody, and make them into a somebody, like He did with me. While I served in my local church, (Foursquare Church, in Lewisham, South-East London, under Pastor Amos & Grace Komolafe, where I was also baptised), People began to recognise the gift of God upon my life through singing. I was encouraged.
After a few years serving at that ministry the Lord moved me on to Abundant Life church, Peckham under Pastor Francis Odutuyo, where I served as a praise & worship leader.

1996, in His awesome timing, God opened a door for me to release my first gospel album, titled: ”LIFT UP” with the help of Prophet Abiara and the Pastoral team of Christ Apostolic Church HQ London (CAC Agbala Itura). This album has since become a success.
It didn’t come easy, But God's favour and grace sustained me. I thought it would stop there, knowing that God was using me so mightily in singing, but He had other plans for me, anointing me in the office of a Prophetess to reach out to nations with the message of love, healing and deliverance — that through Jesus Christ, our lives can be changed.

In the days when Jesus walked the earth, there was a woman named Mary of Magdalene. She was also known for her harlotry, and became a favourite of the locals who loved to mock her. All she ever knew was sorrow… until she met with Jesus Christ. From that moment, her life was changed forever. She was rescued, delivered, set free, and wanted nothing else but to serve Him for the rest of her life.

I can truly relate to Mary. Oppressed and bound by the lust of this world, I couldn't see any hope for myself. I was sinking fast in a well of sinful living. Yet just before I gave up totally, along came faithful Jesus to rescue me. I'm so glad that the Lord saved me. Now all I desire is to love Jesus the way He loved me.

God is faithful in all His ways, and His promises are true. My husband Daniele Luciano Moskal found me through him purchasing my album in 1997. Truly, he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favour of the LORD - Proverbs 18 v 22. We got married on June 20th, 1998, at Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), London.
